Protection Against Corrosion & Chemical Damage
All Shering platform scales are either available with a galvanised or stainless steel finish, so providing resilience to the damaging effects of moisture or more aggressive chemicals present in some environments. The load cells are all encapsulated stainless steel, with the strain gauge area bonded either with a flexible sealant or fully welded. The fully welded option, while a little more expensive, is more suitable to harsh environments such as the chemical industry.
All our scales are designed so that they can safely be totally washed down, so removing any contamination or health hazard, as well as maintaining the clean appearance of your premises.
