Transportable Weighbridges
Transportable weighbridges are often required at short notice and may then be re-sited at a later stage. This may be on a site under development where the permanent weighbridge location is not yet ready, or where the site entrance may be changed as it develops - eg a landfill or quarry.
Our transportable weighbridges have several innovative features to suit these requirements:
The actual weighbridge is based on one of our standard weighbridges, with the addition of mounting cradles and steel ramps. These all bolt together and are fixed to the ground with rawlbolts. No foundations are required other than a level concrete plinth.
The load cells are fitted and the bridge verified before it leaves our factory, so reducing typical installation time to half a day. Additionally, under normal circumstances, when the bridge is relocated it does not require to be re-verified.
If permanent installation is required, then the same weighbridge can be mounted on standard concrete foundations. The steel ramps would then be available possibly for use with another Shering transportable weighbridge.
As the transportable weighbridge is fixed to the ground with rawlbolts, once the bridge has been moved the site can be restored simply by cutting off the bolts and sealing the holes in the concrete.
As with all Shering weighbridges, the transportable versions are fully approved for trade use.
